Common Questions

What is the difference between your three formply grades?
Standard (poplar core, F2S film face) is the economical choice for general formwork. Anti-Skid Gripmesh (hardwood core, Dynea black film) adds a non-slip surface for scaffold platforms, walkways, and trailer decks. F17 Structural (hardwood core, Dynea film) carries a verified F17 stress grade for high-load structural formwork.
How many concrete pours can I get from a sheet?
With a release agent applied before each pour, prompt cleaning after stripping, and sealed cut edges, film-faced formply is engineered for multiple reuses. Actual pour counts depend on handling and stripping care - the film face, not the core, is usually what determines panel life.
Can I use formply for a trailer deck or ute tray?
Yes - the Anti-Skid Gripmesh grade is exactly what it is for: hardwood core for stiffness, black Dynea film for weather resistance, and a gripped surface underfoot. At 17mm and 2440 × 1220mm one sheet covers most single-axle trailer decks.
What does formply cost in NZ?
Our 17mm formply runs from $95.45 per sheet (Standard) to $123.05 (Anti-Skid Gripmesh), with F17 Structural at $116.15. Volume pricing is available for commercial quantities - request a quote.
